APTIX is a college application planning tool for students age 13 and older. If you are under 18, involve a parent or guardian when deciding what information to enter.

What we store

We store the account details you provide, your student profile, college applications and deadlines, essay drafts and version history, tasks, recommendations, and your conversations with the APTIX Advisor. We use this information to operate your workspace.

How AI is used

The advisor uses the OpenAI Responses API with store: false, so OpenAI is instructed not to retain response data for later retrieval. Advisor context excludes email addresses. Your essay text is sent for AI review only when you explicitly request a review.

Guest demos

A guest demo uses a random token in an HttpOnly cookie. A SHA-256 digest—not the raw token—identifies its sample workspace. The cookie and workspace expire after 7 days.

We do not sell student data

APTIX does not sell or share student data. Service providers process limited data only to run the product.

Your controls

Signed-in students can export a JSON copy of their data or permanently delete their account from Profile. Account deletion also removes the sign-in credential. Administrators must be removed through the service configuration.
